17 October 2026 Your cat's card: turn it on in Settings, under Share your cat, and your cat gets a page of its own on whiskerfall.com, with its look, level and titles, to share anywhere. Invite a friend with your link. When they reach level 10, you both get the title "of Good Company" and the Kindred Rose Dye. whiskerfall.com now has a guide for new cats, a wiki of every item, monster and zone, the news, and the hiscores. 17 October 2026 Add an email to your account in Settings, Account, and confirm it from the link we send. Forgot your password? A confirmed email can now get you a reset link from the login screen. You can log in with your confirmed email in place of your username. 16 October 2026 Day and night: night falls every two hours, for 40 minutes. Every zone has a night creature of its own, and they drop Moonbeams. Weather: rain, fog, snow, sandstorms and more, region by region. It changes how the world looks and which fish bite, never the fighting. Rare oddities: 44 named monsters that turn up now and then, some only at night. Tough, and very well worth it. The Bounty Board in every town: three bounties a day for gold and Bounty Marks. The Moonlight Peddler: a different town every night, selling dyes, titles, a Moon Moth and tales for Moonbeams. The Journal: lore pages hidden on high ledges, secret rooms with chests, a catch log of notable fish, and Prowling courses with medals. 28 new quests, Mothwick's Memories and the Waking, the last chapter of the story. Colonies can now hold regions, and there are new hiscores boards. 16 October 2026 Schrödinger's Box, in every town from level 10: open one to find it empty, or holding a wardrobe look. Some looks only come from a box. Mouse Races: a race every ten minutes. Bet on one of six mice. The Nine Lives Raffle: buy tickets all week; nine winners are drawn as the week turns. What's new: this note, shown once after every update. 16 October 2026 Dungeons: team up as tank, healer and damage and clear them together. Parties and the Dungeon Finder, to find a group without asking around. Wardrobe trails: a rare drop that leaves a trail behind your cat as it moves. Ordinary boss zones are now fought alone, in a copy of the zone for each cat. A calendar of festivals and the weekly rotation, in Settings. Combat hiscores now rank lifetime XP. The Sardine Tonic is weaker. 15 October 2026 Ninefold is now Whiskerfall, at whiskerfall.com. Zones come in new shapes, with exits where the map says the next zone is. Auto modes: full auto, auto skills only, or fully manual. The Wardrobe: cosmetic looks and weapon glamours. Your Cardboard Fortress is a place you can visit, and rooms take time to build. The Moth Coach flies between towns. Weapons for every class, an off-hand slot, jumping and class movement skills.
