🪮 Grooming guide, 1 to 99

Grooming uses herbs from Foraging. Each level gives a little HP regeneration and wakes you from a knock-out sooner, and leftover herbs sometimes make a Grooming Balm for other cats.

The quickest route

Doing the action with the most XP an hour at each level, back to back, Grooming 1 to 99 takes about 100 hours (13,034,431 XP). Life skills carry on while you nap, action by action, so much of that happens while you're away.

Tips

Grooming needs herbs: forage first, or buy them on the Exchange.
Grooming Balms go in the kit slot, and sell.
At a Grooming spot, tap Play for Tangles, a 30-second minigame. A gold score (90 points) gives +25% Grooming XP for 15 minutes while your cat keeps working, and the first gold puts a look in your wardrobe.
Each week's contest features one life skill; the three cats who gain the most XP in it win big gold prizes.
