Whiskerseer guide
Witch's-cat mystics who fight from range with a staff. A Whiskerseer clears whole packs with circles and falling stars, and keeps a heal on its bar. Spells scale with magic attack, so it wants magic gear. It blinks rather than runs, and it is the path to take if you want to heal in dungeons.

Then Grimalkin at 60, then Cat Sìth at 100. Weapon: wand and tome. Dungeon roles: Damage.
Moonmystic
Lunar heals, wards and shields. Takes the healer role in dungeons and is very hard to knock out anywhere.
Then Lunarch at 60, then Lunar Sovereign at 100. Weapon: staff. Dungeon roles: Healer, Damage.
Skills to put on the bar
Your cat casts the first skill on its bar that is ready, so the order is its priority. When it takes a class, the game sets its bar in this order, which is a good place to start. Swap in new skills as each advancement brings them.
| Class | Starting bar, first to last |
|---|---|
| Whiskerseer | Witch's Whiskers → Starfall → Hex Circle → Moonbeam → Pounce → Purrmend |
| Hexpurr | Black Cat's Luck → Hex of Frailty → Witchfire → Curse of Nine Lives → Cursed Comet → Purrmend |
| Moonmystic | Lunar Ward → Tides of Selene → Full Moon → Crescent Wave → Starfall → Moonlit Renewal |
| Grimalkin | The Witch's Hour → Curse of the Grimalkin → Midnight Pyre → The Ninth Life → Cursed Comet → Purrmend |
| Lunarch | Eclipse Ward → Harvest Moon → Moonfall → Full Moon → Crescent Wave → Silver Tides |
| Cat Sìth | Samhain Night → Fae Curse → Samhain Fire → Soul Theft → Curse of the Grimalkin → Purrmend |
| Lunar Sovereign | Total Eclipse → Blood Moon → Tidal Pull → Harvest Moon → Moonfall → Moonwell |
Talents
From level 10 the Whiskerseer line gets a talent point every two levels, 96 by level 200, for three trees. A tree opens a row for every five points spent in it, and its last row is a capstone that teaches a new skill, about level 90. A level 200 cat fills one tree and about half of another.
| Tree | Leans into | What it does | Capstone |
|---|---|---|---|
| ✨ Dreaming | Both branches | Raw magic of the Dreaming. Quick casting, deep wells of MP and stars on demand. | Dreamstorm The whole sky of the Dreaming falls on one spot. |
| 🔮 Hex | Hexpurr | Black-cat curses. Burns that linger, marks that bite and luck that never runs your way. | Hex of Doom Doom one foe. It takes 25% more damage and withers for 8s. |
| 🌙 Moon | Moonmystic | The lunar purr. Silver shields, deep healing and the full weight of the moon. | Wrath of the Moon A lance of moonlight through every foe in a line. Slows by 30% for 4s. |
A safe build: fill your branch's own tree from top to bottom, then put the rest into the shared tree. That is what the game's balance is measured against, so it always keeps pace. Resets cost gold in any town and get cheaper again week by week, so trying another tree is never a big loss.
Tips
- Big spells cost a lot of MP: upgrade the Catnip Draught early and set its threshold high.
- Lead the bar with the circle and falling-star spells; single-target spells are for bosses.
- Blink hops you onto a ledge or away from a wind-up.
Every skill's damage, cooldown and cost is in the class comparison, and the other paths are in picking a class.
