An idle MMO you play in your browser
Whiskerfall is a free idle MMO that runs in your browser. You play a cat in one shared, side-scrolling world with everyone else, your cat fights and gathers by itself, and it keeps going while the tab is closed.
The MMO part
- One world, run by the server. Every zone shows the other cats in it. You fight the same monsters side by side, and kills can't be stolen.
- Trading. The Scratching Post Exchange is a player market: buy and sell offers for materials, and listings for gear.
- Colonies. Join a colony, level it up together, hold territory and share a Colony Feast.
- Group content. World bosses wake every 3 hours for everyone at once, and five-cat dungeons have a Dungeon Finder that builds the group for you.
- Hiscores and contests. Public hiscores for combat, every life skill and the minigames, and a weekly skill contest.
The idle part
- Auto-combat in real time. Pick a zone and your cat runs to monsters, casts the skills on its bar in the order you set, drinks potions and dodges big attacks. You choose the gear, the skills, their order and the zone. Or switch to manual and play it yourself.
- Life skills. 14 skills to level 99, gathering, crafting and support, in the spirit of Old School RuneScape. See the life skill guides.
- Time away. Close the game and your cat naps; when you come back, it has been busy. See how time away works.
- A long road. 36 classes, combat to level 200 over months of casual play, then nine Lives to spend.
The browser part
There is nothing to install. It runs on phones, tablets and computers, with a layout made for each, and installs to your home screen as an app if you like. Your cat lives on the server, so you can pick it up on any device.
